I'm finally back

I know it's been a while since I've posted. I've been rather busy at work and since I'm on a computer all day, I often don't want to start one up when I get home. Here is a brief review of what I've been doing since my last post:

  • Went on my honeymoon to Ireland. Drove ALL OVER the country and saw a lot of Ireland I hadn't in the past. Went back to a few places I wanted to show B. The weather was pretty great. Became a certified scuba diver in some very cold water off the central west coast of Ireland. I also learned how to drive a manual transmission on the wrong side of the road without any mishaps. I'll try to get some pictures loaded.
  • Started agility classes with my puppy. She wasn't the star pupil (too interested in what the other dogs are up to) but she was the only dog to go over the A-frame ramp without any hesitation.
  • Went to 2 weddings (only 4 more to go this year). For some reason, many people we know decided to tie the knot this year. The first wedding had a swing band at the reception but since B is not much of a dancer (along with most of the other guys I knew there) I didn't really dance much. It was a bit more difficult to dance with a bunch of girls like you can with a DJ.
  • Found out that a new litter of puppies have been born through the breeder we have been working with. There is one male in the litter that looks strong. If all goes well (I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much), we will have a new puppy in July.
  • Had a great Memorial Day weekend with the family. My sister's house is pretty much done. We all gathered there to celebrate that, my cousin's junior high graduation and my Uncle's retirement. The weekend started out with us driving all over so mom could show us the different plans she has for her garden. That night we ended up at Buffalo Wild Wings (one of B's favorite guy hangout) with mom, cousin, sister, and BIL. My sister decided to leave the kids at home with the recent graduate to babysit. We played trivia and watched as B and my BIL tried to eat a dozen Blazing Wings. After eating 3 each, shedding many tears and sweat, they gave up. Sunday, we went fishing near my sister's house while mom watched the kids. It was FUN! Even though I snapped a line, broke a reel and didn't catch any fish. Next was the family gathering which went off without a hitch. Then we decided to go fishing again. Some of the family missed out on the morning trip so decided to join us that night. Even the girls came along to play in the sand and water. Monday we headed home and vegged out. Watched a movie and lazed around the house.

I guess a lot has been going on. Time to get back to work...
